My client was my friend Arturo Castro, the director and owner of Hispana Comunicion Integral... the leading Spanish language Agency in the West, perhaps the whole country.
The storyline here is a joke...the clients think the blonde is an Anglo who won't understand their needs. They're surprised, and pleased to learn she does...whereupon the wife says "I told you they'd take care of us." The message is that Simple Insurance is simple, and prepared to serve the Latin market.
We backlit the scene through the storefront with a transclucent plastic material and we had "daylight" as long as we needed it!

We produced this one based on the client's script. (It's 4 X 3, with the candidate letter-boxed.
We were lighting, grip, teleprompter, DP (HDV Sony Z-1) and editor (FCP HD). We used our standard 4 man crew.

We shot her demo (DP) on a Sony Z-1U HDV camera. It captured the look and sound and we wish her and the band well in their musical career.

We were DP using the Sony BetaCAM D50.
This was a challenge! No artificial lighting, no grip gear (like scrims, silks...) We placed the models in position to where the sun lit them most, and used tree limbs for shading.
We were happy with the results. And the Producer loved the budget. Ride that iris!

CORPORATE MARKETING
The Stewarts (www.stewartfilmscreen.com) want installers and reps to learn the projection screen business, and the Stewart's are the world's biggest and best. They've built the state-of-the-art training facility and we produced a DVD to encourage folks to attend.
This one has an interesting mix of footage we shot on the Sony F-900, and DVX 100; edited in FCP. The aerial footage was a last minute HDTV shoot, so it was handheld out of the smallest helicopter I've EVER shot from. A small plane innertube and a little software image stabilization and we got away with it!
